Two-sided marketplaces fail on the empty side. The client had landlords ready and no renters, which meant the first version had to feel populated and useful on day one.
We designed the renter experience first and seeded it with the landlord inventory that already existed. Search, saved properties, in-app messaging, and a viewing scheduler — nothing else shipped in v1.
A working product with a genuine transaction loop rather than a prototype. Scope discipline is why it shipped in eleven weeks instead of eleven months.
